Vincent’s leadership and management proficiency is unparalleled. While an expert in development communications and regional trade facilitation, he’s evolved into an experienced champion of Africa Continental Free Trade Area (AfCFTA) implementation activities-a key flagship project of African Union, Agenda 2063. He has conducted assignments at the headquarters of key regional economic blocs such as East African Community (EAC) in Arusha-Tanzania, Southern Africa Development Community (SADC) in Gaborene-Botswana, and Economic Community of West African States (ECOWAS) in Abuja-Nigeria. He has worked at one of Kenya’s parastatals-Kenya Trade Network Agency (KenTrade), part-time consultant with United Nations Economic Commission for Europe, Kenya’s Judiciary, Church Missionary Society and Kenya Forest Service. Vincent holds a Masters and Bachelor of Arts in Communications, both from Daystar University. He is a member of the Public Relations Society of Kenya, and has acquired various professional trainings such as small business development centers from University of Texas- Institute of Economic Development, Entrepreneurship by the International Trade Center Academy, and International Trade Facilitation Agreements by World Trade Organization (WTO), Senior Management Course by Kenya School of Government, and Project management in Controlled Environment by AXELOS- United Kingdom.

Dr George is a research scientist with more than ten years experience in climate modeling at IGAD’s Climate Prediction and Applications Centre (ICPAC). He is experienced in fundraising for climate related projects as well as linking climate change to socio-economic well-being of developing countries within the IGAD member countries. He has provided support in raising Funds for the establishment of Climate Prediction Analysis System in Uganda, Djibouti and Burundi under Global Framework for Climate services (GFCS). Besides he has leading roles in climate related project implementation, funded by institutions such as DFID, British Redcross, Korean International Cooperation Agency, World Metrological Organization, University of Sussex and Readings United Kingdom. George is PhD holder in Meteorology/Climate Science, Masters in Meteorology/Climate Science and a Bachelors Degree (B.Sc) in Meteorology, all from the University of Nairobi, Kenya.
