Eva Muiru
President
Eva is an Associate, and a Chartered Insurer with Insurance Institute of Kenya (IIK), and Chartered Insurance Institute London (ACII) respectively. She is well versed in risk analysis and management having worked in the insurance services industry for close to three decades. Currently she is the General Manager at Beaufort Insurance Agency and Consultants Limited, having previously worked at American International Group (AIG Kenya), and UAP Insurance Company in charge of key sectors such as aviation, marine, energy and commercial property. She holds an Executive Masters in Business Administration and a Bachelor of Commerce (Insurance option) from Jomo Kenyatta University, and University of Nairobi respectively. While she is a Certified Pension Trustee, her professional trainings in leadership, management and insurance were undertaken at College of Insurance, Strathmore Business School, and the Academy of Executive Coaching. Eva enjoys travelling, reading and meeting new people

Susan Maina

with an impressive track record of performance excellence. Consultant and a Corporate

Dorcas Lekesanyal
Treasury Secretary
Dorcas is an experienced corporate professional with a wealth of experience in both private
and public sector service. She is a Public Finance and Accounting Expert with a successful
career serving the County Government of Samburu and Executive Office of the President of
the Republic of Kenya. She holds a Master of Science Degree in Development Finance from
KCA University, Bachelor of Commerce degree (Finance and Banking option), Certified Public
Accountant and Certified Public Secretary. Well versed in financial reporting, budgeting,
Auditing, Bank reconciliations, Cash management record maintenance, strategic planning and
Corporate governance and Champion of Zero Fault Audit. Dorcas is an MBS, Presidential
Awards holder, A member of the Institute of Certified Public Accountants of Kenya, Institute
of Certified Public Secretaries of Kenya, and a well-trained leader from the Kenya School of
Government.

Benignas Luyera
Secretary General
Benignas is an expert in supply chain and logistics with a vast experience in the public service.
She has worked as the Director of Supply Chains Management at the Ministries of Agriculture
and Transport, the Ministry of Education (State Department of Post training and Skills
Development), the County Government of Trans Nzoia, Mbagathi District Hospital, Ministry of
Medical Services; Member, Special Audit of Food Security Target Programs by National
Irrigation Board (NIB), Director at Nairobi Health Management Board. Head of Procurement
Function at Ministry of Home Affairs, Ministry of Youth affairs, Ministry of Environment and
natural Resources; Ministry of Water (Provincial Water Office-Nairobi), Head of Secretariat at
the Ministry of Finance. Management Committee at Energy Sacco Limited, and Marketing
Executive at Alico Insurance Limited.
She is a holder of Masters of Science in Procurement and Logistics, and Master’s in Business

Kaimuri Karauki Njeru
Technical Support
Kaimuri (Kuka) is a visionary leader with expertise in strategic
management, stakeholder engagement, and impact-driven
innovation. As Co-founder and CEO of Learning Differently Limited,
she has built cross-sector partnerships and driven scalable solutions
for inclusive education across Africa.
With a Master’s in Counseling Psychology (Daystar University) and a
Bachelor’s in Journalism (USIU–Africa), she excels in corporate
communication, risk assessment, and governance. Her background
in business writing, reputation management, and program
development equips her to oversee large-scale initiatives.
As Chief of Party, Kaimuri brings a strategic, results-oriented
approach to financial leadership. She is skilled in optimizing resource
allocation, fostering public-private collaborations, and driving
sustainable impact. With deep expertise in CSR and social enterprise,
she provides valuable insights for financial institutions seeking
inclusive and responsible growth.

Catherine Kariuki
Women’s Projects Advisor
Catherine is endowed with expertise, both as an entrepreneur and an employed professional.
She has previously worked as a Financial Analysist at the Office of the President, State
Corporations Advisory Board, besides providing expert insight as part of the Presidential Task
Force on Parastatal reforms. Principal Accounts Officer at Kenya Trade Network Agency
(KENTRADE). Program Development Expert at the United States Aid for International
Development (USAID) within Eastern Africa Regional Implementation Office and Financial
Management Center. Founder and Chief Executive Officer with Nermal Enterprises Limited
focusing on infrastructure projects at Kenya’s Devolved Governments. Management Accounts
Officer at various organizations including World Vision International, Kenya Methodist
University and Faulu Microfinance Bank.
She has undergone postgraduate education on Master of Business Administration – Kenya
Methodist University. Bachelor of Commerce, Finance option– Moi University. Certified Public

Lydia Njeri
Lydia is an experienced commercial legal attorney with extensive experience in banking, capital markets,
regulatory affairs and corporate governance leadership. She is Founder of MPL Advocates LLP based in
Nairobi-Kenya. She holds a Master of Laws degree, LL.M, and a Bachelor of Laws degree, LL. B, both
from the University of Nairobi. Lydia is also a Certified Public Accountant, CPA(K), a Certified Secretary,
CS (K), an accredited Governance Auditor and an Advocate of the High Court of Kenya. She is equally a
member of notable professional bodies.
